This is a remix of SK-Polymer's Bionicle piece. I have reinforced the center beam and the ball sockets while making it more accurate to the piece 50898. Also made some other variants.
Note: Original Lego pieces are made with ABS. You should use creep resistant filaments for it to keep its grip. Using hard or rough filaments may damage the original Lego parts. I mainly use ASA but PETG should work as well.
I recommend layer height of 0.20mm, increasing layer height value further will most likely cause layers to separate during assembly.
UPDATE;
September 17, 2022: Cleaned up the axle sockets, so it wont look weird in slicers.
August 22, 2023: Added "ReinforcedSockets" variant for the 50898 piece. This one has wider "arms" on sockets, so it should be less prone to creep over time when printed with a high infill ratio. May limit articulation.
September 14, 2023: Added V3 for all types. This version has filled ball sockets to prevent creeping and potentially eliminating other weak po
