Bird-Powered Planter Feeder

If you’ve had birds, you know: Seed shucks everywhere. Cage floor = disaster zone. I got tired of cleaning it, so I built a better system. Designed in Tinkercad and 3D printed, this is a simple, functional feeder + planter combo that turns mess into something useful. How It Works Seed Bowl on a Spike Feeder sits elevated on a spike. The spike is planted directly into soil, so seed shucks fall into the planter instead of onto the floor. Raised Water Bowl with Watering Spike Keeps water cleaner and elevated. It slowly drains into the soil below and helps keep your plant hydrated. The Result Their mess feeds the plant. Their waste fertilizes it. Dropped seeds might even grow into snacks. Less cleaning. More time for making. Printing Info Designed in Tinkercad. Supports are recommended for the elevated sections. A 0.2mm layer height works well, with 15–20% infill. Use a brim for stability.
