Have you ever wanted to design your own power tools?
This Black and Decker Matrix adapter allows you to make custom tool heads for the Matrix system. Just add the file to your workspace and design your own tool around it. You will likely need to gear down the motor for many tools. For reference, the drill attachment sold with the matrix platform is about a 35:1 gear ratio. I will be releasing the plans for my own attachments in the future but wanted to release this design for general use while I was still prototyping.
I really like the Matrix system because it allows for the availability of a wide range of tools, in a compact space. It also cuts down on the waste of each power tool having a separate motor and housing.
