Black+Decker Strimmer Wire Holder

This is a Black+Decker strimmer wire holder. This replaces the A6489 strimmer wire and fits model GL9035 and i believe GL8033. It may also fit other models but I'm unable to test this. There are 2 version that can either use up to 1.7mm wire and up to 2.4mm wire. You need to cut the wire to about 1cm longer than the diameter of the strimmer. Find the centre and put a knot in it. Then thread each side through the holes in this holder and pull tight so the knot sits in the middle of the holder. This then fits in the carrier that clips to the bottom of the strimmer. This is much cheaper than buying the original Black+Decker wires as you can use cheaper wire from a spool and just cut it to length. These carriers are also reusable so the only waste is the strimmer wire itself, which is replaceable once it wears down.
