A compact blast gate intended for dust extraction in the wood shop.
I designed this to fit different size ducting and hoses. It is loosely based on MisterMJ's design, with the added benefit of a stop for the lid, and a few other design tweaks.
Apart from differences in diameter, the two "A" parts are identical and can be used in any combination. The blast gates work very well in practice, with a smooth operation, and the lid opens fully.
*The 100 mm part fits a European 100 mm flexible coiled hose
*The 110 mm part is made to fit inside the fitting of a Swedish 110 mm sewage pipe/drain pipe
I have also made a 148 - 150 - 152 - 160 mm blast gate, see https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5821325
Please note: to print a complete blast gate, four parts are required:
Two "A" parts, choose appropriate sizes
The "B" part
The "C" part
Six M4 x 12-15 screws, washers and nuts are required to mount the blast gates. Make sure to place the sliding lid in position b
