Blemmyes Protomech

One of the lore bits from Battletech that has always intrigued me is the fact that The Word of Blake experimented with protomechs during The Jihad. With continuing research into the field, they might have actually managed to create a prototype or two. Going down this potential route, I decided to dream up a design for a brand new, WOB protomech design. In the same style as canon protomechs, I wanted it to be named after a mythological cryptid, and since most of the names of such beasts have been utterly mined out by the setting, it took me a little while to find one that hadn’t been used. As such, I present to you the Blemmyes, a Word of Blake protomech designed to do what the WOB does best: war crimes. This 8 ton horror moves at 6/9/4 and comes in two different flavors: AP gauss and dual flamers.
