Blickensderfer spacebar

To all those who lost a spacebar for a Blickensderfer typewriter over the many, many years of its existence, fear and despair no more!

This bad boy fits on all Blickensderfer models with a spacebar mechanic similar to the famous No 5, which this model has been made to replace - but several later iterations of the machine use similar styled spacebars, and they probably fit for those as well.

Bear in mind this model was made from scratch and a few reference photos only - I do not have an original spacebar to measure and copy off, so if you have, you will indeed see slight difference in contours and proportions. This is not a REPLICA, it's a REPLACEMENT. And it works fabulous :)

Mine is fastened with a small braided strand of steel wire, bent into submission to show who's boss. But I'm sure other solutions exist.
