Blues Nametag Alignment Tool

You many have seen my ribbon rack tools, someone had mentioned in the comments about the dreaded nametag placement. Reading through DAFI36 -2903, the name tag will be centered on the wearer’s right between the sleeve seam and top of the lapel. The bottom of name tag will be parallel with bottom of ribbon rack. Normally I use a ruler and “guesstimate” placement, but not anymore! I created this simple tool spanning 8.5" and accounting for the lapel thickness. Place your Blues coat buttoned up on a hangar, lay onto a flat surface, square up the jig and line up your nametag! As always, Blues Accoutrements look different stationary vs wearing.
