Blum hinge drill jig

This jig is designed for front-facing Blum hinges.

The jig has 2 functions, mounting the plate in the cabinet, and locating the hole for the hinge in the door

To mount the plate, measure where you want to mount to plate, set up the jig and drill out the holes.

To drill out the hinge, mark where the holes are going to be, screw down the jig and take a 35mm Forstner bit. If you don't have this drill bit, you could use a router with a top bearing, however, this jig is not designed for this method.

Blum sells clip mounted hinges. To prep for this type of hinge, simply drill out the hole and then drill the holes for the clip mount where you screwed the jig down
