BMW E82 E88 intake scoop - left

My first 3D CAD model done with really basic shapes on tinkercad.

It's really rough but should do the job.

You should print with ABS for heat resistance, else it'll just melt if it's PLA.

Designed for the BMW 1 series coupe and cabriolet convertible. Intake scoops for E82 and E88.



Update - 1 September -
I make some fixes and printed and uploaded the right side scoop. This one fits much better now.
Suggest using the right one, and mirroring it to print the left one.

When fitting the OE elbows that connect the scoops to the intake duct, you will need to either trim them slightly or bend them slightly. This is all hidden anyway and you'll know what I mean when you go to install them.


Requires a little trimming to fit perfect. Heat persuasion works too


It's a tight fit. Might require trimming to fit.
