Boat tail

A boat tail is an essential component of an rocket propulsion. It provides stability of the rockets and to reduce the drag produced infront of the nose head by inducing vortex. Therefore the boattail should be weightless and to induce large vorticity in turbulent flow. It is used in order to provide a support for the base of the rockets.
