BOBUS THE TINKERER
Bobus the Tinkerer is a, well, tinkerer. He is fascinated with machines, and has always searched for a type of crystal that could power his machines. At the time, the only portable method of powering them was steam, but that all changed when he used a rare crystal, that he named Bobite, in one of his machines and it worked. He was very excited about the discovery, but there was a problem. Bobite was so incredibly rare that he could only find a few crystals. He was desperate to find a solution. He began trying to come up with a formula to make the crystals grow at an increased rate, but had no luck.
One day he accidentally spilled a mixture of crude oil, slug slime, intraocular fluid, and pigs’ blood onto the crystals. The crystals started to grow at in extreme rate, but they became unstable and exploded. The explosion destroyed Bobus' workshop and left him unconscious. He woke up in the hospital the next day. He had a concussion and some crystal shards were lo
