I need to upload photos of the finished product and a link to the assembly video.
SCI-CALC
I backed an awesome project on Kickstarter - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/shaoduan/sci-calc-a-multifunctional-scientific-calculator
Shao's minimalist case is beautiful, but I had 2.5 problems. I wanted to let my young child units use the calculator. But more importantly, several people including myself, had problems aligning the pogo pins for the display. And not really critical, but the right side of the display PCB was unsupported. I attempted to solve all of these problems with this "case".
I designed this to use the original clear acrylic back and screws, so you won't need anything more than the printed parts.
Print settings
I used Ninjatek Ninjaflex for the gasket. Ninjatek says 228°F but on all of my printers, that resulted in non-bonded layers.
Hot end: 255°F
Build plate: 50°F
Print speed: 40mm/s
Wall speed: 20mm/s
Retraction: .8mm @ 40mm/s.
