Bofors 40x311r

This is a 1:1 scale replica of the Bofors 40mm L60 anti aircraft cannon ammunition used by several nations in WW2. This is the 40x311r version (not to be confused with the 40x364r for the post war L70 cannon, or the Sgt. York DIVAD). There were a few reference pictures used to come up with this approximation, some with slightly conflicting shapes and styles, but I feel like I was able to get pretty close.

Not for the faint of heart! You'll need a big printer at 1:1 scale as the case alone is 311mm tall. Test print came out fine on a CR-10

I made a few slight tweaks of the tolerances after my test print, and haven't had a chance to reprint yet, so some light sanding or (VERY) gentle heating might be required for the shell and case to interface.
