Bolt EV Port Spacer

Update 2021:

I've confirmed that the 2022 Bolt EV and Bolt EUV use the same charging port design as the previous Bolt so this spacer should work with the newer models as well. If you end up printing and using in one of these newer models and have issues, please leave me a comment with what needs to be fixed and can modify it for you. Happy Bolting!

This is a spacer piece designed for the Bolt EV CCS charging port. The spacer will prevent the charging head from sagging and causing communication errors. If you look at most new EV CCS ports, there is a shroud around the port that allows the charging head to rest on. The Bolt EV has a large void.

This helps on stations by BTC Power (Electrify America, Petro-Canada, etc) and other stations with Phoenix Contact liquid cooled super high powered connectors.

I am *far* from a designer so this is more of a functional part vs aesthetically pleasing.
