Trophy designed for those studying statistical thermodynamics, and who feel like they’ve accomplished something.
The equation is the Boltzmann equation for statistical entropy, S. It relates S to Boltzmann’s constant, kB, and the natural logarithm of the number of microstates of your system, Ω. The microstates are sometimes expressed as W, but Ω looks cooler.
The equation is engraved on Ludwig Boltzmann’s headstone.
