Book Cover

I recently got dragged to a bookbinding class by a friend. It inspired me to create a journal cover into which I can add sets of bound pages. It should be a fun project for anyone that wants another nerdy hobby in addition to 3D-printing. To add a twist, I printed it without top and bottom layers in order to expose the infill pattern for all to see. Different patterns give different looks (though some like Hilbert Curve would obviously not work). Part of the fun is playing around in Slic3r to see what you can do.

For the interior I used sketchbook paper with origami end papers to make five 100mm x 150mm (~4" x 6") signatures (this can vary depending on paper thickness and personal aesthetic preference).
