Boost Buddy - MT3608 Protective Case

This is a simply print to keep you from burning your fingers on the hot choke coil of the MT3608 voltage boost module. - No additional screws required! -

Please note that the case pinches the wire to the circuit board in one instance, and to the case itself in the second. Take care, and probably a blunt tool, to get the board and wires into the case to attain an effective strain relief.

To use the strain relief effectively, you need ~1.8mm of thickness. The more pressure on the wire insulation, the stronger the cover fits on due to wall deflection.

Technicals: These MT3608 modules are rated for 2 amps. These get hot at 2 amps! I might suggest keeping that in mind when handling or even packaging these modules. Most of my applications run under 1 amp making these great inline voltage boosters.
