Bose QC25 Element Cover Replacement

SummaryDuring an repair of the broken speaker element in a Bose QC25 the element cover was deformed due to excessive heating and was thus permanently damaged. The cover was re-engineered and compared to the original part. It's not a perfect fit but it works good enough.It uses the original cable and filter for the port and it is recommended to seal the cable and the contact between the cover and headphones with silicone sealant or liquid gasket.Supports is a must and some post-printing cleanup might be nessesary to produce a good result. The cover is thin so care must be taken.
