It adds an angle to the pedal so the sharp (#) indicator dot is clearly visible when you are sitting and tuning your guitar.If you play guns n' roses, drop tuning or restring your guitar you know what i'm talking about :) *works with any standard Boss pedal if you have a use case for it.
