Bottle Cap Lock or Passthrough Adaptor

A simple but surprisingly sturdy locking mechanism that repurposes a standard PET bottle cap. A perfect solution for keeping workshop cabinets, printer enclosures, project boxes, or any other non-security related containers closed. Use it for light duty security to childproof or animal-proof something. You could also use this as a sort of bulkhead passthrough adaptor for a filament drybox or something. Drill an appropriately sized hole in the wall of a container (like a filament dry box or a project enclosure), insert the threaded part, and secure it with adhesive. You can now use a standard bottle cap to seal the port, or attach other hardware that uses PET threads. I haven't tested this, but it should work nicely. Use it for whatever you want. Designed to print quickly with no supports required.
