Bow / Crossbow PVC string making tool / jig

I designed this so if I break a string on my crossbow I don't have to rely on China to send me another and wait for weeks. Now I can make as many as I want with some string, a little wax and some time. You could use a board with some nails in it but why when you can have something more useful? Plus with these you can keep them with you and if your string breaks on the road you can just trim a long enough stick or pick up some PVC and you are set to go.

I printed both at 100% infill in PETG but PLA or PLA+ should work. I just had PETG loaded already. I also printed these with a 0.8mm nozzle for speed as cosmetics is not really a concern with something like this but you should be able to make a functional tool with any size nozzle.

They fit loosely on 1 inch PVC pipe. If it is too lose just put 1 layer of tape around the pipe to make it snug.
