BOXX MPO Concept (multiple placement options) An enclosure which can be placed and used in so many ways. The thing that really got me going on this was: There are way over 40.000 injuries reported every single year, related to bad work ergonomics in office environments world wide. So i thought... Could a workstation be ergonomic correct? My other thoughts behind this concept: If i where to fabricate a workstation, it had to.... 1. Be completely out of my way.... Damnit!!! I hate every time i turn around in my chair, i bang my upper right leg/knee into the enclosure. Why dont you just move the chair a bit? Then every time i need to use the dvd/ports i whould have to roll the chair to the right and then back again. "chair samba" Call my lazy, but and i use those things quite alot :) 2. Why not just use a desktop workstation? I have enough "crap" taking up space on my desk allready: two studio speakers, two 24" monitors, large wacom tablet, spacepilot, keyborad, mouse, plus the regular office items... And if it where a "top of the line", it whould take up all the space. 3. I want the things i use frequently, right where i need them. 4. No enclosure at my "workingspace". 5. Maybe somekind of way to place it, that could lower the noise. 6. Right now i use the top of my workstation to place usbsticks, external hdd ect. So this "feature/dropoffplace" whould also be nice to have. 7. It whould be cool to have a shape, that can be placed and used in different ways. 8. An enclosure design that can be used for: compact, medium and large sized workstations. 9. Don't cost much more to fabricate the different enclosure sizes. (Fabrication of a new tool for injections molding ect. cause of large enclosure ) 10. Should not be much more expensive to fabricate than a basic encluser/chassis. So what i ended up with is..... A worstation that can be placed in multiple ways: 1. If you mount the workstation under the your desktop (see renders) it... Provides you with the best ergonomic use
