Brass Length Quick Check Gague

This is a sizing gauge to allow the quick checking of .223 and 300 Blk brass length for need of trimming. The lengths are for max case length for both brass case types (45mm for 223 and 34.75mm for 300blk). Placing brass in the correct slot should give you an idea if the brass case needs to be trimmed shorter, or can be used as is for reloading.

I have made an adjustment to the slot opening (v. 7) to allow easy insertion of brass in to the slot as I use it. I put the brass on the lower edge of the slot by the name and tip it up into the slot. If the brass fits, it's good. If it sticks at all, I trim it. Easy as that.
