Use this model to dial in your “Bridging Speed” setting on your 3d printer. Instead of gambling on whether you need to put a support there or not, use this print to figure out if your printer can bridge that gap satisfactorily or not. Knowing the limits of your printer can reduce wasted filament by placing unnecessary supports or attempting overly ambitious bridges, ruining prints. You might also be able to bridge larger gaps by slowing down the Bridge Speed" setting in your slicer. To use: measure or estimate the distance you will need to bridge. Select the print profile with the appropriate sized bridge, then select the print plate with the appropriate starting speed. If model does not meet your expectations, attempt with a slower print speed, or consider using supports.
