I've had the Brita water pitcher for several months, my first time using one. Unfortunately, the handle cracked at the jug. Initially, I decided that I would just by a new one because it was not expensive. This version, from Costco in Canada, has an auto-fill top that doesn't appear to be available anywhere else. When I read the reviews on the Costco website; i found many buyers complained about the broken handle.
Other Brita jughandles have support at the bottom of the handle but many of the reviews complained about the lid falling off during refilling.
At that moment I decided to attempt to print a support. It took several versions to get the correct arc for the inside of the handle and angle for the portion that is attached to the jug.
I used Dollarama 5 min epoxy to attach the support and repair the crack at the top of the jug.
