Brooklyn Bridge Cake Topper

We had a 16th birthday party for my son and one of his friends. His friend's mom and my wife decided it would be an NYC theme cake. So the other mom made two cakes and I volunteered to make a bridge to bridge the two cakes. So here is my cake topper/bridge inspired by the Brooklyn Bridge. I printed each pier in two pieces. Then I printed the roadway on its side with supports. Once the supports were removed, glue the roadway between the upper and lower pier pieces.

I made the bridge in halves, that way each birthday kid could keep a piece of the bridge.
