This is a brushless motor I designed to learn about electric motors. This is a 9 slot motor with 12 magnetic poles. The following link can be used to for wiring help. http://www.bavaria-direct.co.za/scheme/calculator/ I wired the motor in Y configuration.

You will need two bearing of OD 10mm with ID of 5mm, motor shaft of 5mm, 9 m3 bolts of 8mm (these bolts should be magnetic), and some enameled coated copper wire. I used 24AWG wire and was able to do 28 turns. You may want to play with this number but my first attempt was 15 turns and it did not work well. You will also need an ESC to run the motor, the one I used can be seen in the picture and was relatively cheap. I just had most of this stuff kicking around but I included the stp file of the assembly so it can be modified to fit other parts
