I didn't want to relocate my RPI, nor did I want all those wires running to the top of my printer. So to keep in simple in only running a ribbon cable, I needed to use this touchscreen, and designed my own mount.
This is a stand for the BigTreeTech PITFT50, or BTT 5" touchscreen.
No supports needed, except for when you are printing the back plate. I'd add normal supports to help with the inset holes on the bottom, just prints better.
Everything else can be printed in this orientation.
Still a WiP, so let me know if I need to make some more adjustments to the holes, But this should work. The holes in the face are designed to "self tap" when screwing in a bolt.
Needed:
BTT PITFT50
Camera ribbon cable (PI does not mount on the back here)
M3 - 6mm x 4 (to mount the arm to the back plate)
M3 - 10mm x 4 (to assemble the front and back plate)
M3 - 20mm x 1 (for the mount adjustment)
M3 nuts x 5
M4 - 8mm x 2 (to mount to the printer)
M4 T-Nuts x 2
