So, we had a boys night coming up and my 8 month old son was coming (our wives had a work function) - he needed a "beer" can to join in and feel part of the night.
Hence, bubweiser was born.
(Also, he absolutely loved being part of the fun, waving his can around and jabbering on)
There are two files
- Thinwall beer can was my initial conversion of MNinventer's prop to a usable vessel
- Bubweiser is modified to have thickened walls (for insulation) and a logo on the front.
(V5 has a relief vent added to improve drinking and cleaning)
Printing Tips:
- I suggest printing at 70% scale if intended for small hands :-) (the model is based on a full size soda can)
- I use a gyroid infil with fairly high density (30-40%) to attempt to create insulating pockets of air within the walls.
- print with a wide brim to provide sufficient adhesion, the can has a very thin ring of contact at the bottom, just like a normal can.
