This piece is part of a project I had in mind.
The objective of this piece is to automatically take a picture at the end of each layer, without the need of tools such as octoprint and octolapse.
How does it work :
Print this piece,
clips your budds in the spotas shown in the picture (iPhone buds in my case)
and place it at the end of your X axis on your printer (mine is a prusa i3b)
Once the piece is printed you can select the piece you want a timelapse of, slice it with your normal slicer and using the code I made myself :
https://gist.github.com/MathieuDenglos/ee528d9303dc112259fc8933c4f9b6e2
It will automatically add in the Gcode commands mobing the bed and the printer head at the limit of your printer, pushing against the + button and taking a picture.
Once the print is done, take all your pictures and use a third party software to make the timelapse.
