Buddha Bust

A friend of mine asked me to create a replica of the 6ft Buddha stone statue he has in his back yard. I created a high resolution scan of the statue and am now in the process of printing it out.Using a coat of filler primer and some plastiwood as base and textured stone effect spray paint as finish I was able to recreate this bust at almost original size looking like the real deal. Unless you know you are looking at a print, or come really close to see some remaining layer lines the illusion is perfect. The Scan picked up the small imperfections in the stone of the original, making the replica look and feel even more real.Only the chin, nose and earlobes require supports.In the 3mf file I added a cavity to fill with plaster, giving the bust a nice weight and 2 cylindrical cavities for pins in case you want to mount it. Feel free to modify as needed. The Bust itself used about 670g of filament. With the plaster it weighs about 4lbs.
