Burger Press

I designed this hamburger press to make and freeze my own burgers at home, using PET-G filament for durability and food contact safety (though always verify your material's specs).

The press forms patties with a 104 mm diameter and 22 mm thickness, which I’ve found to be an ideal size for standard burger buns.

Using a separation film (like baking paper or burger paper discs) between the press and the meat is essential—it makes it much easier to shape and remove the patties without sticking, especially when preparing in bulk for freezing.

The parts are easy to print and clean. I recommend a layer height of 0.2 mm and at least 3 perimeters for strength.
