Butter-Brush

Many people have been sharing on social media a kind of device that rapidly applies butter to bread. A few people requested that I design one for them to print. I listened to the comments people were saying and factored that input into this design. I will briefly go over what those comments were and what solutions I came up with.

1) "Filament is not food safe" - Depending on who you believe, this can go either way. Many sources say it is not food safe, and many sources say that some filaments (PLA, PETG, among others) are food safe provided no contamination. This is something that you should research and draw your own conclusion. However, I have researched a possible fix. Many epoxy resins are in-fact food safe, If you have concerns about whether or not your filament is Food-Grade, You can always coat the prints in Food-Grade epoxy.


2) "That is a massive amount of butter to fill it up" - I would agree! Most of us are not making toast for 100 people and wont ever need to. I have
