Buzz & Bloom Hanging Planter

Welcome! I bring to you my first ever planter design! Please take a moment to read and learn about it, as well as, future ideas I have to expand on it. Design: This design started because I wanted to a create a hanging planter that was, to some degree, modular. Nothing crazy but the ability to change pots or parts as they wear or a change of aesthetics if desired were some key points I wanted to facilitate. After a handful of CAD hours, test printing and aesthetic changes I present to you - The Buzz & Bloom Planter! Modularity: Realistically there are only 2 modular parts on this design but what may seem like minimal actually opens up quite a bit.The pot hangers - With the modular hangers Pot designs, shapes, sizes etc. can be altered without the need to reprint the planks! One of the hangers gets worn out? Just print a new one and snap it in.The way the planks connect - This opens up more possibilities that I want to explore, for instance, you want a longer hanger - snap in an extensi
