C/CS Mount Adapter for DIN Threaded Microscope Objectives

This is a quick and dirty adapter to put a microscope objective onto a c/cs mount camera/sensor like the new Raspberry Pi HQ camera mount.

I have virtually no clue about optics, so this might not be optimal in any shape or form. In any case, you need to print the adapter with a very small layer size in order to ensure the threads work. Also you must clean the piece thoroughly before mounting, because loose pieces of material might damage your optics or sensor.

Attached is a picture I took with a 5x magnification lens, though I have no idea what optical magnification this actually is. Also, for the lower magnifications you need a longer tube, in general. You can customize the length of the tube in the FreeCAD file if you need a different size.

Microscope objectives are usually designed for a 160mm tube, but that's quite unwieldy for my purposes.
