Here is a reverse-engineered model of the C5 Corvette front Lower Control Arm (LCA). I created this model based on a 3D scan, focusing on maintaining the correct geometry for all hard points (frame bushings, ball joint and sway bar link). Key features: Design Intent: Instead of copying the original cast surface imperfections, I reimagined the part with a clean, parametric design suitable for CNC machining (billet style). Geometry: Critical mating surfaces and bolt patterns match the scan data. Files included: STEP (Great for any CAD software) Credits: Huge thanks to Sean Kile for providing the original scan data used as a reference for this project.
