C6-3 Solid Motor Rocket

This is a quick model rocket I designed to use with my C6-3 solid rocket boosters. There is nothing in place to keep the booster from falling out until it is fired, I just used a small piece of tape.

For assembly, simply snap the top piece into the lower piece. It was designed with a .30-.45 mm tolerance for my printer, but you may need to shrink the bottom part a little if your printer does better with tolerances.

In order to launch properly, you will need a straight rod of around 3mm in diameter. Since the center of pressure is slightly in front of the center of mass, the rocket should maintain a pretty straight flight when in atmosphere.

I printed it with a wall width of 2 layers.
