Cabinet pocket hinge jig

This is a jig for converting double demountable hinges to the new style pocket hinges. I used Blum Blumotion Compact hinges for this.

Print both pieces and press or glue together.

I used a 1 3/8" boring bit I bought at Lee Valley.
I made a lock collar to set the bit depth according to the hinge instructions.
If you cannot make one like I did, buy a small bearing with a locking collar (1/2" bearing in this case) and tighten the set screw to desired bit depth.

-First align the jig in the existing hinge key hole
-Clamp and bore
-I used a nail to mark the holes for drilling (I had planned on buying an extra long 3/32" bit for this, as it is needed to clear the jig)
-Drilled the screw holes with a 3/32" bit
-Install hinge
