When I converted my Tronxy X5S 3D printer to use a direct drive extruder, I needed to route more wires out to the gantry to drive the extruder motor. The existing gantry cable chain was packed so I developed this simple "up-size" clip to do the job. It allowed me to add the needed wires without disasssembly of the cable chain or any of the extruder stepper connectors.
While I designed the "Up-size Clip" to snap onto my 18 x 14mm (H x W) cable chain, you should be able to scale the STL file during slicing in X & Y as needed to work with larger or smaller cable chain sizes. If not, the source SolidWorks (2013), STP, and IGES files are also available as downloads. Of course, you use the 2D part drawing as a start point should you which to further modify the clip within your favorite design program.
