I made these clips to route, and organize the speaker wire in my home theatre. it's run up the wall and i didn't want the wire to get snagged, and pull the speaker off the wall.
The clip is designed for 12AWG wire, and a #6 drywall screw. Printing wit a 0.4mm nozzle there should be a wall thickness between the screw threads, and the wire insulation, so the wire should be safe. check the file after it's been sliced to ensure the wall is between the screw hole and wire. The size could be increased so the wall is present. Without the wall, there is a chance that the screw threads could cut through the wire's insulation and short the wire.
The wire I designed around is 3mm (1/8in) per strand, 6mm (1/4in) for the pair. you could use smaller wire, but too small and it could "zipper" if snagged. The wire fit quite snug.
I used a flat-head screw driver to separate the wire to make room for the clip. Whatever method you choose, Don't stab Thy self!
