Cable Management Hook Generator - Adhesive

This is a parametrically designed CAD file for generating cable management hooks (clips) for organizing your electronic wiring. These are designed to be mounted to surfaces using double-sided adhesive foam tape, like the Scotch Outdoor Mounting Tape. These are intended for rather large bundles of thick cables rather than just a couple of thin cables. I recommend scuffing up the bottom surface with 220 grit sandpaper to make better adhesion with the tape.

To modify the parametric design you will need Fusion 360. Free licenses are available for students, individual creators and small startups.

Just measure the diameter of the whole bundle of cables to be organized, and enter the value (in mm) into the parameter CableBundleDia. This will adjust both the size and thickness of the clip.

This design is optimized for FDM printing with no supports needed. All walls are a 2X multiple of the line width, which is set to 0.4mm by default (this can be changed within parameters). This minim
