Cable Opening Edge

The openings I cut in the back of my shelf are less than lovely. So I designed this edge to snap into place. It gives things a more professional look.

This is made for an opening that may be a non-standard size. I took a small container from one of my supply boxes, put it up-side-down on the surface I wanted the hole, and drew around the out edge with a pencil.

Then I cut out the holes! My cuts were not perfectly straight. But I designed and printed this little item and it hides my mistakes and makes things like nicer and neater!

Much to my surprise, the first design iteration worked perfectly! It snapped into place without needing any adjustments to the design!! For me this is rare!
