At work we have a conference room with several cables going down through the table top. The problem is the DisplayPort and HDMI cable ends are small enough to fit through the slot in the cable management cap. So I decided to make something to prevent this from happening.
You place two of these around the cable, turned 180 degrees, and snap them together. They form a washer that will prevent the cables from slipping down through the table.
The retainers are 30mm in diameter, and the slot is 10mm wide.
