Some days you just need extra caffeine.. In south Italy, “caffè sospeso” literally means “suspended coffee”, but culturally it refers to the tradition of paying for an extra coffee for someone in need. Here, instead… the coffee is actually suspended in mid-air, frozen while pouring from the moka pot into the cup.So yes, it’s caffè sospeso… literally. 😄 No AMS required — everything prints in single color parts, and you can add details later (I used a glow-in-the-dark valve so it lights up at night). It delivers a fun optical illusion—coffee floating mid-air—and it’s quick to print and simple to assemble. It makes a great gift for coffee lovers, Italians, makers, or as a quirky office desk piece. Assembly (shown in the last two photos):Press-fit the coffee stream into the cup.Hold the moka pot in pouring position and align it with the top of the stream.Add a tiny drop of super glue between moka + stream to lock the angle and to put the moka higher.Let dry — done!
