I took some time to re-create the Calgary Flames NLH Hockey teams' logo, starting from a greyscale image, and extracted the curves to extrude this logo.
I don't like placing vertices manually, so I used Blender to generate a mesh from a 2D image and then extract the edges. Workflow linked below.
