If you're like me, you have a ton of 20mm calibration cubes lying around. If you're also like me, for some reason you haven't thrown them away, despite the fact that there's almost nothing to use them for. Now you can give those cubes a purpose in life and some angular momentum with this fidget spinner.
This spinner is sized for a standard 608 skate bearing and three 20mm calibration cubes. The standard wisdom about making spinners is that you have to press the bearing in, but I've found that with the right settings you can make it tight enough to hold but loose enough that you can mash the bearing in by hand.
The tolerances in the model are exact, so you'll want to scale this up in your slicer before you print it. It worked best for me at 102% - i was able to mash the bearing in using nothing but elbow grease, and the cubes fit in tight enough that they won't fall out with normal use. Your results might vary.
I've also included two caps (which I scaled to 98% to print) -
