CALMA was born from the need to prevent those who wear eyeglasses from fogging the
lenses with the use of the protective mask, which has become mandatory against the spread of Covid-19. The support created, creating a thickness on the chin, facilitates the passage of air, escaping from the nose or mouth downwards, thus preventing it from clouding the lenses in the upper part of the face.
CALMA is a product that must necessarily be modeled on the physiognomic characteristics of those who wear it. For this reason it is 3D printed with PLA filaments, corn-based polylactic acid, a material that allows, once a certain temperature is reached, a minimal modeling, so as to make it adhere perfectly to the face. Its skeleton structure, essential and with few details, allows you to print it in at least 40 minutes.
The printing time increases according to the desired filling of the empty spaces. CALMA was designed in this way to be lighter and to consume less material. Thanks to the hooks,
