Wanted to try building a shifter for my Camaro, This is my first attempt.
The point of the spring and housing/brackets are to work with the shifter cover to prevent an accidental slam in Reverse when manually shifting an automatic, so this is spring loaded shifter/cover may save your Transmission, the bottom of the shifter will connect right up to a standard shifter cable.
Feel free to take it and modify it.
