Summary The mount was designed for shooting time-lapse videos. I often use such videos in my videos to clearly show printed details. And I got tired of putting the camera on a tripod. After several instances of dropping the camera on the floor, I made this fixture. I printed the mount and inserted the magnets and tested the device in action. It turned out very comfortable and secure but I was afraid that the plexiglass would get scratched quickly so I printed additional covers of TPU plastic.
